I see this over and over again... women who output so much to others - jobs, home, kids, partner, parents, community, friends. Yet they never make enough time for the input to themselves. Thoughts, energy, time, encouragement, compassion. All the things they invest so readily in others, they don't feel they have the permission to give to themselves.
Please, please please - write your own damn permission slip!
Alana Kirk, The MidLife Coach
Sitting down with me is really about sitting down with yourself.
It's about signing that damned permission slip to invest some time, some thought, some energy into YOUR life, not just everyone else's.
I will work with you to help you get unstuck, help you find clarity, help you find the power and potential that this time of life has to offer.
My life has taught me that one of the most important ways we can show up for ourselves and self-care, is to self-challenge. Self-discover. Re-engage. Re-connect to ourselves.
One of the best things about what I do, is watching a woman unfurl.
Anais Nin beautifully wrote: “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
This is your time.

"Although I initially approached Alana for help with purely professional goals, she also challenged me to map out and set goals around work-life- family balance, which has led me to develop a more sustainable balance. Unexpectedly, this work led me to feel much more empowered about my business by addressing some of the psychological barriers and fear of failure, which I didn’t even know I had!" - Ciara B.
